What Is a Goal Handicap?
In the context of betting, a "goal handicap" pertains to a specific market where one team is given a goal advantage over their opponent. This type of handicap is commonly used in football betting exclusively.

Over/Under 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2...
If the number of goals is less than the line, betting on over is a loss, and betting on under is a win.
If there are more goals than the line, the gamble on the over/under alternative total goals handicap is a winner, while the wager on the under is a loser.
All bets will be repaid if the number of goals is the same as the line you are betting on.

- If the total number of goals in a match is over 2 goals (1:2, 3:1, 3:0…), you win the bet.

- If the total number of goals in a match is 2 (1:1, 2:0, 0:2), that is a push - you get your stake back.
For goal lines of 0.5, 1.5, and so on.
If the amount of goals is less than the line, betting on over is a loser, and betting on under is a winner. With half AH handicap, there is no tie outcome.
If the total number of goals scored exceeds the line, over bets win and under bets lose.

- In this bet type, such as when the margin is set at half (1.5), there is no possibility of a push or stake payback since the number of goals can’t be 1.5.
